I am passionate about helping to address painful emotional issues holding people back from being in the present and looking to the future. Having a healthy sense of self opens the doors to a happier life and interactions with others. Sometimes just talking about issues actually sorts out what might be holding you in a state of unhappiness or just feeling stuck. I hope to help others move forward with skills to deal with life’s ups and downs.
I employ listening, supportive feedback, structured problem solving, teaching DBT skills, mindfulness training, cognitive reframing and psycho-education. You are in a safe, confidential and supportive place with me. Together, you and I will develop different perspectives and approaches to handling the difficulties that occur in all of our lives.
